The Sinanju began its life as an Earth Federation prototype Mobile Suit constructed to test the capabilities of psychoframe-equipped Mobile Suits. The Sinanju quickly fell into the hands of Neo Zeon Remnant Leader, Full Frontal. Inspired by the legacy of Char Aznable, Full Frontal claimed the Sinanju as his personal Mobile Suit, modifying it and repainting the suit in a brilliant red. Neo Zeon engineers made purposeful cosmetic changes to the Mobile Suit, replacing all Federation motifs with ornate Zeonesque styling. Like its predecessor, the RX-93 Nu Gundam, the Sinanju features a full-psychoframe cockpit with psychoframe parts throughout the Mobile Suit’s frame. These additions allow Newtype Pilots to communicate directly with the Mobile Suit’s operating system with brainwaves.

Articulation –
The RG Sinanju is one of many early Real Grade models utilizing pre-molded inner frame pieces in its assembly. These parts combine hard and soft plastics to create large movable joint sections, to which builders apply additional frame pieces and armor over the pre-molded parts. The RG Sinanju uses twice as many pieces as its High Grade counterpart, providing much greater color accuracy on the 1/144th scale. Unlike its High Grade counterpart, the RG Sinanju includes tons of gold-plated parts to recreate the Sinanju’s iconic pinstriping without the need for color-correcting stickers! The Sinanju hosts multiple articulated thrusters throughout its construction, perfect for creating dynamic flying poses!
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
Each weapon included alongside the Sinanju features updated designs loaded with surface detail without straying from the silhouette of the source material. These weapons feature the same excellent color separation as the Sinanju, providing some of the best-looking 1/144 scale weapons Bandai has ever made! The Sinanju’s Beam Rifle features a removable scope and an optional grenade launcher. This grenade launcher also attaches to the inside of the Shield for off-hand use. Builders can also connect the Sinanju’s Beam Tomahawks to the Shield, increasing its offensive capabilities. The Beam Tomahawks can attach at the base to create a double-bladed weapon resembling the MS-14S Gelgoog‘s Beam Naginata.

This kit looks amazing, and its fun to build, but that’s the only good things I can say about it.
Despite having so much fun building it, the end result became something of a very mixed bag. There is little to no articulation for how bulk the kit is, when moving the arms the bicep armor pieces snap off, the knee plates do not stay in place and fall out all the time. Even with the base stand there is no way to pose it in a dynamic way. Even though I built it carefully and with time, it was still loose and so many pieces fall off. Whats the most frustrating part is there is no way to pose it with the shield at all. It does not stay on the arm as it meant to snap on the forearm, or plug it on the shoulder unit. Nothing just stays in place, which makes this the most disappointing RG i’ve ever done.
if you want to keep it in a standing pose with a stand as it is too back heavy without one, then its totally fine. if you want to make fun poses, i would not recommend or it will fall apart. This is apparently nothing new, as if you look up other reviews that is the case there.
Can not recommend unless you love the Sinanju.
