MG ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam
The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam is a prototype Mobile Suit developed by ZAFT using data from the captured G-Project Mobile Suits stolen in the early stages of the First Alliance-PLANT War. The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam made its first appearance during the final battle of the First Alliance-PLANT War in the hands of Rau Le Creuset to enact his plans to destroy humanity. The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam utilizes the powerful DRAGOON System, which gives the pilot access to an array of remote beam weapons stored on the Mobile Suit’s backpack and skirt armor.
Included alongside the MG Providence Gundam for accessories:
- MA-M221 “Judicium” Beam Rifle
- MA-MV05A Composite Armed Shield System
- Beam Effect for Armed Shield System

The MG Providence Gundam borrows most of its internal construction from the previously released MG ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam Ver. 2.0, providing the model with a polycap-free frame and a functioning cockpit hatch that reveals the 1/100 Rau Le Creuset figure seated within! The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. Bandai included a display base for showcasing the model high in the air right out of the box! The MG Providence Gundam features several armor-sliding gimmicks that improve the model’s range of motion!
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

This model includes an array of transparent rods that builders can use to display the DRAGOON units as they jettison from the Mobile Suit’s backpack, just like in the anime!

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.
You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the MG Providence Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.
Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
