MG XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW

The Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW is an upgraded version of the XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe EW used by Duo Maxwell after the destruction of the original unit. This Mobile Suit comes from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, which features captivating Hajime Katoki redesigns of all your favorite After Colony Timeline. The Deathscythe Hell shares the same development history and origin story as its Television Version counterparts, only differing cosmetically. The Deathscythe Hell features a powerful Active Cloak, which protects it from incoming fire and allows the Mobile Suit to become completely invisible. The five Gundam scientists conceived the Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW plans after the remains of the original Deathscythe found their way to the OZ Lunar Base, where the scientists continued to work for the OZ against their will. The team began developing the Deathscythe Hell in secret, with plans of using it to help Duo Maxwell escape his capture and return to the battlefield. The opportunity would arise before the completion of the Gundam Deathscythe Hell, leaving Maxwell to finish building the Mobile Suit alone.

Articulation –

The MG Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW borrows most of its assembly from the previously released MG XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe EW, with the most noticeable difference being the Hell’s darker, more intimidating color scheme. The model features a complete inner frame with double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing the model with a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses! The MG Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW’s Active Cloak backpack features multiple articulated sections that allow builders to fold the wings around the Mobile Suit, encasing the Deathscythe in the protective bat-like wings.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW includes an upgraded version of the original Beam Scythe, now known as the Beam Scissors. Unlike its on-screen counterpart, the EW version’s Beam Scissors only feature a single beam blade and do not utilize any rocket propulsion. Bandai included a gigantic transparent green Beam Effect to recreate the activated Beam Scissors. The Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW also employs an upgraded version of the original Mobile Suit’s Hyper Jammers, which scramble enemy signals and sensors with greater efficiency.
