The MSN-001A1 Delta Plus is a transformable Mobile Suit developed from the failed MSN-001 Delta Gundam designed by Anaheim Electronics as a part of the Zeta Project. The MSN-001A1 Delta Plus is the product of Anaheim Electronic’s continued development of the Delta Mobile Suit Series after the Gryps War. The MSN-001A1 Delta Plus came into limited production in UC 0090 with a much sturdier frame than its theoretical predecessor, which enables a smooth transformation into Waverider Mode. In this form, the MSN-001A1 Delta Plus can reenter and fly in the atmosphere without assistance from external equipment. The Nahel Argama received a single MSN-001A1 Delta Plus unit in UC 0096 and assigned the Mobile Suit to Riddhe Marcenas after the destruction of his RGZ-95 ReZEL. Riddhe would use the MSN-001A1 Delta Plus to infiltrate the Neo Zeon asteroid, Palau, to recover the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam.

Included alongside the MG Delta Plus for accessories:

  • 1/100 Riddhe Marcenas Figure
  • 1/100 Mineva Zabi Figure

The MG Delta Plus utilizes an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, helping the model provide a complete transformation into Waverider mode. The model also features a functioning cockpit that reveals the 1/100 Riddhe Marcenas figure seated within! The MG Delta Plus features double-jointed knees and elbows, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. This model utilizes a unique action base adapter that holds the model in Mobile Suit form and Waverider Mode.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The MG Delta Plus includes the same Beam Rifle used by the MG RGZ-95 ReZEL. This weapon features an unfolding handle that allows builders to connect the Beam Rifle to the model in Waverider Mode. This model comes with two spare e-pacs for this weapon listed as unused parts, as the MG Delta Plus does not feature any external hardpoints for this equipment. The MG Delta Plus includes a pair of Beam Sabers stored inside its Shield for close-range engagements. Builders can attach the Shield to either of the Mobile Suit’s forearms using the built-in hardpoints.

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the MG MSN-001A1 Delta Plus with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
