HGUC #195 AMX-004 Qubeley

Earn 24 Reward Points

The AMX-004 Qubeley is a Mobile Suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam designed for Newtype pilots to keep up with Gryps Conflict-era Mobile Suits. The AMX-004 Qubeley features four iconic Wing Binders and a unique set of manipulators. This High Grade rendition comes almost 15 years after its original appearance in 1999!

Included with the updated HGUC AMX-004 Qubeley is:

  • Beam Saber x2
  • Funnel x10

Each Wing Binder articulates in multiple places, allowing them to fold down and around the Mobile Suit. They can also rotate outward to expose the inner details. Due to the armor shaping, the thighs cannot swivel. However, the arms and legs are all double-jointed for an increased range of motion.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

All ten Funnels come molded separately and can separate from the Tail Binder to display as deployed. Bandai included two Beam Sabers stored within the Mobile Suit’s Forearm. They can be used from within the forearm or ejected and held within the manipulators depending on the situation.

 This kit includes:

11 Runners total (A, B[x2], C1, C2, D1, D2, E1, E2, SB13, PC002)
Total Piece Count – 171 with 1 Unused Part

HGUC #195 AMX-004 Qubeley

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #195 AMX-004 Qubeley with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
