The MS-14F Gelgoog Marine perfectly suited the needs of Zeon Marine Troopers during the One Year War mainly in part to its updated design. Thanks to the high production numbers of this mobile suit, many MS-14F Gelgoog Marines would be repurposed by both Zeon Remnants and the Earth Federation as seen in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

The included armaments for this version of the MS-14F Gelgoog Marine are as follows:

  • 90mm Machine Gun
  • Knuckle Shield
  • Beam Sabers x2

Articulation
 –

Like many two-decade-old Gundam model kits, the MS-14F Gelgoog Marine doesn’t have a ton of dynamic posing capabilities. The build is sturdy-looking and very stable thanks to its large feet and lower leg parts.

Weapons and other notable attributes –

One of the most captivating accessories included is the Knuckle shield. The Knuckle Shield is a modified version of the shoulder-mounted shield seen on many original Zaku Mobile Suits. With the addition of 3 spikes and a handle for the Gelgoog, it became a devastating close-quarters weapon.

This kit includes:

6 Runners Total (A-C, D(x2), PC123)
Total Piece Count – 123 with 4 Unused Parts
Stickers for Monoeye
Materials: PS, PE

HGUC #16 MS-14F Gelgoog Marine

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #16 MS-14F Gelgoog Marine with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
