Zeonic Company originally developed the MSM-04G Juaggu as a mid-range support unit for the planned assault of the Federation’s Jaburo Base but never utilized them, as Char Aznable began the operation before schedule. For decades, the MSM-04G Juaggu only existed as a part of Mobile Suit Variations and a few minor videogame appearances. That was until the release of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn animated series. This series brought fans tons of awesome redesigns of classic UC Mobile Suits, including the MSM-04G Juaggu! This HGUC model kit builds into the MSM-04G Juaggu as portrayed in its animated debut.

Like many Amphibious Mobile Suits, the designers have incorporated all the weaponry into the Mobile Suit’s armor.

Articulation
 –

The first thing most people notice about the MSM-04G Juaggu is the “elephant trunk” extending from below the monoeye down to the waist. This equipment is a large exhaust duct and articulates fully, thanks to Bandai’s clever use of bendable wire! Each Barrel of the Triple Rocket Launchers will rotate and spread apart for displaying the MSM-04G Juaggu as it unleashes its weapons. The mid-section of the MSM-04G Juaggu attaches via ball-joint, which provides a small amount of bend and a fair amount of rotation.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

On the torso of the MSM-04G Juaggu are two sets of Mega Particle Cannons (which are swapped out for Beam Guns by Zeon Remnants). These are powerful weapons capable of sustained fire and will easily penetrate another Mobile Suit’s armor. Bandai included four red stickers to recreate the color of the weapon. Zeon Remnants also modified the Rocket Launchers to fire smaller rockets at a much higher fire rate. These Launchers were strong enough for melee use under dire circumstances, but the MSM-04G Juaggu did originally have the option for equipping a standard manipulator, which would be more suited for actual close-combat.

This kit includes:

7 Runners total (A, B, C, D, E, PC7, PC132)

Foil + Marking Stickers

HGUC #139 MSM-04G Juaggu Unicorn Version

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #139 MSM-04G Juaggu Unicorn Version with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
