The GAT-02L2 Dagger L is a multipurpose Mobile Suit used by the Earth Alliance in Gundam Seed Destiny. The design of the Dagger L borrows primarily from the Strike Gundam, with changes made to allow for mass production.

The Build for the GAT-02L2 Dagger L may feel familiar if you’ve previously built the HGCE #171 GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam, as they share some components. Besides that, this kit has all the bells and whistles you’ve come to expect from the HG lineup over the last few years.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The GAT-02L2 Dagger L is compatible with the Glider Pack included with the HGCE #232 GAT-04 Windam and the other High Grade Striker Packs thanks to the attachment point on the back.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGCE #237 GAT-02L2 Dagger L with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.

A plain, but awesome Grunt Suit descended from the Strike Gundam. It has only a modest selection of accessories, but is compatible with almost all backpack units from other Seed kits.

As an added bonus, there is not a single sticker on this kit.

what it lacks in accessories it makes up for it in 0 need for stickers and thats great for a HG
