The MSJ-121 Demi Trainer is the latest iteration of the Demi Series Training Mobile Suit developed by Burion for use within the Asticassia School of Technology. The MSJ-121 Demi Trainer is a purposefully barebones Mobile Suit designed without any combat equipment found in standard Mobile Suits, granting it incredible maneuverability. The lack of excessive components also made the MSJ-121 Demi Trainer the perfect choice for mechanical department students to modify and customize to their liking. The MSJ-121 Demi Trainer is easily the most popular Mobile Suit at Asticassia School of Technology, favored for its easy handling and versatility.

Articulation –

The HG Demi Trainer borrows most of its construction from the previously released HG WFM #06 MSJ-105CC Chuchu’s Demi Trainer, showcasing the in-universe lineage that connects these two Mobile Suits. This model features double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Demi Trainer’s polycap-free construction ensures the model will hold a solid pose for years to come! Builders can easily connect the HG Demi Trainer to their choice of Action Base using the 3mm attachment point built into the model’s waist. The HG Demi Trainer includes a small sheet of foil stickers to help builders customize their model right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Demi Trainer includes a standard Beam Gun as its primary armament. This compact weapon fires low-output projectiles and features a small magazine in compliance with Asticasssia School of Technology Regulations. The forearm-mounted Shield included with the HG Demi Trainer will provide ample protection against incoming fire. The HG Demi Trainer also features the Saber Stick, a training weapon used in close-quarters engagements. Builders can attach this weapon to the Mobile Suit’s waist or backpack when not equipped. The HG Demi Trainer includes a Staff Antenna used to determine the winner when dueling.

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG WFM #09 MSJ-121 Demi Trainer with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
